Evidence Base

The Dual Capacity-Building Framework for Family-School Partnerships

The Dual Capacity Framework used existing research and best practices to create a compass for schools to develop effective family engagement strategies, policies, and programs.

The framework helps schools create strong efforts that support student achievement and school improvement.

Supportive Documents & Templates

The following documents provide templates for required Cohort 4 project submissions, including an action plan, final budget template, and invoice template. Prior to completing these materials, participating Cohort 4 locations must sign a Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) at the county and school level, both of which are linked below. To provide guidance on budget development, the Budget Allocations document includes allowable purchases through the WVFEC project via federal funds.

It takes a village.
